YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Southern rock band 38 Special will come to Powers Auditorium on Oct. 1 for a 7:30 p.m. concert. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 13 at Ticketmaster. A presale will begin at 10 a.m. Aug. 13; use the password HOLDON. Celebrating more than a half-century together, 38 Special has sold more than 20 million albums and built a catalog of guitar-driven songs. The band started producing hits in the 1970s with “Hold On Loosely,” “Caught Up in You,” “If I’d Been the One,” “Back Where You Belong” and “Second Chance.”
