Nebraska is one of 10 states to record a payment error rate below 6%. “This low payment error rate represents our teams’ diligence and commitment to accuracy in determining case eligibility and benefits,” Barbara Lacina, Director of the Office of Economic Assistance, said. The DHHS’ SNAP was commended by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Administration (FNA). FNA Acting Adminstrator Shiela Corley wrote to DHHS complimenting the low payment error rate.
