– The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO), in collaboration with other agencies, arrested a Pocomoke City man on outstanding warrants for illegal possession of a firearm. Officers arrested 41-year-old Kevin Matthew Werkheiser on two counts of illegally possessing a regulated firearm and one count of having a handgun on person. As part of their investigation, detectives established surveillance in the area of Hardee’s, located on South Salisbury Boulevard. He was charged with firearm-related offenses and was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center. No drug charges have been filed against Werkheiser at the time of publication.
