Google Wallet just got a new feature for families. Parents in the U.S. can now set up a secure money balance inside Google Wallet for kids and teens under 18. How kids can use itKids can only spend the money in person, tapping to pay at stores that accept Google Pay. Google Wallet already let parents add a payment card to a supervised child’s account so they could make in-store purchases. The spending limit now lives inside Google Wallet itself, instead of depending on whatever rules a linked card’s bank sets.
