Shirley Ann Durham Cole, age 79, wife of the late Walter Eugene Cole, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at East River Rehab and Nursing Home. Born on October 17, 1946, in Oconee County, South Carolina, Shirley was the daughter of the late Clayborn and Mae Glenn Durham. Shirley is survived by her sisters, Sandra Gibby, Wanda Jean Whiten, and Nancy Lee all of Fair Play, South Carolina. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery.
