It looks as though GTA 6 is already performing very well for Rockstar and Take-Two. A portion of that total will come down to the massively anticipated open world title, as Take-Two opened up pre-orders during the last quarter — though only for its last five days. Strauss Zelnick, CEO of the company, didn't go into numerical details about pre-orders, but said they have gotten off to an "exceptional start", which is hardly surprising. It's not known how that quarterly bookings total breaks down, though "better-than-expected performance" from the NBA 2K and GTA franchises were noted by Take-Two. Excitement for GTA 6 is off the charts, as it has been for a long time.
