PARSIPPANY — Zoetis Inc., the animal health company headquartered at 10 Sylvan Way in Parsippany, has appointed James “Jay” Saccaro as executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief operating officer, effective Monday, August 17.
The newly created position combines oversight of the company’s global finance function with direct responsibility for its manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Saccaro joins Zoetis from GE HealthCare, where he served as vice president and chief financial officer, helping build the company’s financial and operational infrastructure following its launch as an independent public company.
He also served as chief financial officer at Hill-Rom Corporation before returning to Baxter.
Zoetis said the newly combined role reflects an effort to bring financial planning and manufacturing execution closer together as the company expands its product portfolio.
