Fate of historic Moray artefacts sealed as drawn-out sale of church finally reaches conclusion
[]
Northern Scot News
The fate of three historic artefacts has been sealed after plans to remove them from a soon-to-be sold church were approved by Moray Council.
St Gerardine's Church, Lossiemouth.
However, the sale could not be completed due to the presence of three notable artefacts which include the Kinneddar Pillar, Drainie Memorial and Stotfield Disaster Memorial Plaque.
Special attention will be focused on the early 18th-century Drainie Memorial, a double monument to the Gordon family currently located in the church porch.
