NHS Borders has confirmed that Knoll Hospital, in Duns, will be fully operational from Friday, (August 7). The health board reported that there was a fire at the site on Wednesday (August 5) which was attended and handled by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. A spokesperson for NHS Borders said: “Following the fire at the Knoll Hospital site yesterday, a full assessment of the site has taken place and we are pleased to confirm that services can safely recommence as normal from tomorrow. “If you have a clinic appointment scheduled at the Knoll tomorrow, please attend as usual. “We would like to thank patients, staff and contractors for their patience, understanding and support following the incident.”
