The town’s community council heard concerns from residents about motorists on Currie Road. She told the meeting: “Police are aware and I asked about temporary CCTV cameras put at the location. While police levels in the town are low, Cllr Sinclair has been in discussion about moving CCTV cameras to monitor the area. She said: “There are four mobile cameras that are deployed across the Borders. “SBC’s community safety officer is reviewing where these are currently deployed and liaising with the police about using this resource for Currie Road.
