Hawick Circular walk named in Scotland’s top 10 routes

The ‘Hawick Circular’ walk reached eighth place in a national ranking of easy walks for Scotland, with a score of 59.57 out of 100.
The study, carried out by care home provider Lovett Care, evaluated 289 walking routes across the UK.
Dawn Collett, deputy managing director of Lovett Care, said: "We know that a breath of fresh air and a change of scenery can work wonders for the health and happiness of our residents.
Nationally, the Hawick Circular was ranked 69th in the UK.
The top three in Scotland were Denman Park and Arnhall Moss Local Nature Reserve (first place), Anagach Woods: All Abilities Trail (second place), and finally Lochore Meadows Circular (third place).
