Morocco will send 120 athletes to compete in 18 sports at the 2026 Mediterranean Games in Taranto, Italy, the Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) announced Friday. The delegation includes 72 men and 48 women who will compete in the 20th edition of the Games, scheduled for August 21 through September 3. Morocco will field athletes in 18 sports, including track and field, boxing, fencing, football, gymnastics, weightlifting, judo, karate, wrestling, swimming, padel, boules, equestrian sports, taekwondo, tennis, shooting, triathlon, and sailing. Football will make up the largest share of Morocco’s delegation with 36 players, followed by 25 track and field athletes, nine boxers, seven karate competitors, and six taekwondo athletes. The CNOM finalized the delegation based on athlete lists submitted by the national sports federations and filed Morocco’s official entries with the Taranto 2026 organizing committee.
