A 22-year-old man is in custody after police say he stalked unsuspecting women to their homes and employment in McHenry and was also caught video recording a woman’s intimate area in a grocery store. The McHenry Police Department responded on July 9 to Meijer, 2253 North Richmond Road in McHenry, for a suspicious incident. A further investigation developed probable cause to show that Davis recorded the victim’s intimate parts by placing his phone near her loose-fitting clothing. Police officials said Davis had followed unsuspecting women to their residences and places of employment from March to July. Davis also caused significant damage to vehicles belonging to some of the unsuspecting women, the police department added.
