More than a dozen injured in six vehicle pileup on busy Cancun AvenueCancun, Q.R. — A six vehicle pileup on Nichupté Avenue left at least 17 people injured Thursday morning. The pileup happened a few meters from the intersection with Kabah Avenue where a pickup rear-ended a city combi. According to initial reports, the accident occurred when a pickup truck rear-ended a public transport van that was covering the Nichupté-Plaza Américas route. Members of the Cancun Fire Department, Civil Protection, Municipal Transit and paramedics all responded to reports of the city crash.
