Chennai, Aug 7:Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Founder Vijay’s wife Sangeetha on Friday withdrew the divorce plea filed against him following which the Chengapattu Family Court treated the case as closed. Both Vijay and Sangeetha appeared before the court via video-conferencing during which she said she has decided to withdraw the divorce plea. When both of them appeared today, the case was treated as closed following Sangeetha’s decision to withdraw the divorce plea. Sangeetha filed a petition seeking divorce on grounds of infidelity on February 24 before the Chengalpattu District Principal Sessions Court. After filing the divorce plea, actor-politician Vijay’s wife had on March 7, had filed a second petition before the Family Court seeking financial support and accommodation.
