Qatar and Saudi Arabia Sign MoU on Nuclear Safety and Radiation Prevention

The State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in nuclear safety and radiation prevention.
It was signed on behalf of Saudi Arabia by Dr Khaled bin Abdulaziz Al-Eissa, Chief Executive Officer of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority.
According to the Ministry, the agreement was signed within the framework of the longstanding relations between the two countries and their shared interest in enhancing cooperation in nuclear safety and radiation protection.
The MoU is expected to support the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the two sides in areas related to nuclear safety and radiation prevention.
The agreement forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between Qatar and Saudi Arabia in areas of mutual interest.
