The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Seashore Group as part of efforts to strengthen Qatar’s sustainability legacy. Under the agreement, the two organisations will collaborate on a range of field initiatives aimed at raising sustainability awareness and promoting best practices in workplaces and major events. Thani Khalifa Al Zarraa, Executive Director of Sustainability and Legacy at the Supreme Committee, said sustainability remains a central element of the organisation’s work and that the partnership will help build on its existing sustainability legacy in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. Saqr Saeed Al Mohannadi, Vice Chairman of Seashore Group, said the agreement reflects a shared commitment to supporting sustainable event management and strengthening Qatar’s position as a destination for hosting sustainable events. The Supreme Committee said its sustainability strategy aims to apply environmental standards across all stages of major events, from infrastructure design to event operations, while using such events as platforms to promote sustainability awareness.
