The King has arrived in Dingwall for a visit celebrating the town’s community, businesses and heritage. His Majesty began his visit at Cromarty Car Park, where he was welcomed by Lord-Lieutenant of Ross and Cromarty Joanie Whiteford and a performance by Highland Young Musicians. He is in Dingwall to celebrate the 800 year history of the town. The King is meeting representatives from Dingwall Mart, local farmers and food producers, Royal Warrant holders and recipients of the King’s Awards. The King is expected to move to Dingwall Town Hall for a civic reception, where he will meet further representatives from community groups and pupils from St Clements.
