Fairlee man accused of threatening multiple people with knife

FAIRLEE, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermont man faces multiple felony charges after allegedly threatening people with a knife in Fairlee.
Police say Sean McGurk, 55, of Fairlee, was asked to leave a property on Lake Morey Road around 11 p.m. Thursday and then threatened several people with a knife before running off.
A state police K-9 team tracked McGurk and took him into custody.
He faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threatening, trespass, reckless endangerment and having a dangerous weapon during a felony.
McGurk is due in Orange County Superior Court on Friday.
