The Jigawa State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (JPCACC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) to strengthen institutional capacity, mediation, peacebuilding and good governance in Jigawa State. “Jigawa State is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria owing to the proactive measures taken by successive leaders of the state,” Ochogwu said. He added that the establishment of JPCACC by the Umar Namadi administration would further strengthen peacebuilding and conflict resolution in the state. The partnership is expected to strengthen cooperation between both institutions in promoting mediation, accountability, transparency and good governance while contributing to sustainable development in Jigawa State.
