Speaking during an interview on Beyond the Headlines, Ihunwo said he was aligning with the governor’s directive to support the coalition. “Our governor has said there is peace in Rivers State and that we need to move on. If you truly support him, you should join him in the Rainbow Coalition. He added that Governor Fubara had directed his supporters to rally behind President Bola Tinubu and all candidates presented by the coalition. We are going to work together to ensure that all the members of the Rainbow Coalition are elected, including Mr President,” Ihunwo stated.
