It’s still a budget laptop – the new Chuwi MiniBook X U300 is available now for $439. The latest version of the MiniBook X is powered by an Intel U300 processor, which is an entry-level processor from the 13th-gen Intel “Raptor Lake” family. But this 5-core, 6-thread chip is still a big step up from the Intel N150-powered version Chuwi was selling a year ago. While the Intel N150 processor is a 6-watt chip with 4 Efficiency cores, the Intel U300 is a 15-55 watt chip with 4 Efficiency cores and a single Performance core. The Chuwi MiniBook X has an aluminum alloy chassis that measures 244 x 166.4 x 17.2mm (9.6″ x 6.6″ x 0.7″) at its thinnest point and 11mm (0.4″) at its thinnest.
