I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Zoe Becker to the team as a social editor for New York Times Cooking. In this role, Zoe will manage the @NYTCooking Instagram, working to maximize traffic to Cooking while maintaining the voicey, high-energy tone we’ve established off-platform. She comes to us from Eater, where she has spent the last two years driving and optimizing social strategy across platforms and transforming restaurant articles into engaging social content. She previously worked in social media at Bowery Farming, Delish and Food Network. She lives with her fiancé in Manhattan, where you can often find her going to the movies, hosting dinner parties (typically using Cooking recipes) or trying to score reservations at the next restaurant on her never-ending list.
