Union workers secure new contract with Texas City chemical plant, ending strike

The Texas City Metal Trades Council represented 70 workers in the contract negotiations.
Throughout the strike, union members relied on one another for support.
"The company is pleased to have reached an agreement with the Texas City Metal Trades Council at our Texas City, Texas manufacturing facility," she said.
Throughout the strike, Ashland safely continued manufacturing to meet our customers' needs.
