The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has postponed the commencement of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course in Sokoto and Niger states due to ongoing renovation works at the two orientation camps. Under the revised timetable, the orientation course in both states will now begin on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. It stated: “All Prospective Corps Members are advised to avoid embarking on night travels to their Orientation Camps.” The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all prospective corps members safe journeys as preparations continue for the orientation exercise.
