More than 66,000 use domestic airbridge in July

Caribbean Airlines carried 66,814 passengers between Trinidad and Tobago in July, as it increased flights on the domestic airbridge to meet higher demand during the peak summer travel season.
The airline said the figures highlighted the importance of the domestic airbridge in maintaining connectivity between Trinidad and Tobago during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
Acting Chief Executive Officer Varma Khillawan said the domestic airbridge remained a critical link for both islands.
“The domestic airbridge is a vital economic and social lifeline connecting the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
The airline noted that maintaining a dependable domestic schedule remains a priority as demand fluctuates during the summer months.
