Meanwhile, Moore was second in a tightly contested men’s 110-metre hurdles final, with second to fourth separated by the smallest of margins. Sharvis Simmonds of Jamaica finished fifth in 13.61 seconds. In other results, Denisha Cartwright of the Bahamas and Barbados’ Adeyah Brewster narrowly missed out on medals in the women’s 100-metre hurdles. Cartwright was fourth in 12.99 seconds, the same time as third-placed Paola Vazquez of Puerto Rico, while Brewster finished fifth in 13.24 seconds, with her compatriot Maya Collins seventh in 13.69.
