Myke Clark, Chief Executive Officer of Revolve Renewable Power, said the acquisition strengthens the company’s cash-generating storage business, expands its presence in Ontario and supports its long-term strategy of growing contracted renewable energy assets across North America.
The agreement was executed with Southern California Community Choice Aggregator (SCPA), expanding the project’s contracted capacity and reinforcing demand for long-duration energy storage.
Designed to provide eight hours of continuous electricity discharge, Willow Rock will enhance grid reliability, support renewable energy integration and meet California’s growing electricity demand.
René Tammist, Chief Executive Officer of Utilitas Wind, said the project marks a major step in accelerating renewable energy deployment and regional electricity market integration.
