Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK) has signed a trilateral memorandum of cooperation with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) and green hydrogen technology provider Hygreen Energy to develop large-scale green industrial projects in Uzbekistan. The agreement aims to support the construction of modern green hydrogen production facilities under the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Financing (EPC+F) model, combining engineering, equipment supply, construction, and project financing. CCECC, one of China's leading international engineering companies, brings extensive experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects worldwide. Hygreen Energy is among the fastest-growing companies in the green hydrogen sector, specializing in electrolyzer manufacturing and integrated hydrogen energy solutions deployed in major international projects. Green hydrogen is expected to play a key role in decarbonizing energy-intensive industries, including metallurgy, while supporting the country's ambitions to become a regional center for sustainable industrial production.
