BOURBON — On Monday, August 3,​ 2026, at 3:33 P.M., a Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy was on routine patrol in the area ofElm Rd. Suspicious activity was observed at one of the properties by the deputy, who stopped and investigated. It was determined that a man located on the property,​ identified as Breck K. Carper,​ was attempting to steal items. Carper was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Theft. Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
