Liquidators for online used car retailer Carzam are still trying to trace vehicles sold around the time it went into administration more than four years later. They have been examining the ownership history of vehicles through DVLA records as part of an ongoing investigation into the company’s collapse and financial affairs. The latest report confirms the enquiries remain ongoing, with liquidators continuing to correspond with all parties while they seek to conclude their investigation. The latest report says unsecured claims totalling £19.73m have been submitted by 173 creditors, but there are currently insufficient funds to make a distribution. The liquidators have also identified a VAT receivable of £40,586, which they expect to recover from HMRC alongside further recoverable VAT.
