A Kidder man died, and two other people were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 36 and Highway J in Caldwell County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred at 9:05 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at the intersection of Highway 36 and Highway J, about two miles south of Kidder. The 87-year-old man from Kidder, Missouri, who was driving the Ford F-150, was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m. at Cameron Regional Medical Center. The Ford F-150 was towed by Scotty’s, and the Freightliner Cascadia was towed by Gabrielson’s. Additional assistance at the scene was provided by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department, Caldwell County First Responders, and members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
