A 16-year-old boy died, and a woman was injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 67 and Shannon Road in St. Francois County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred at 4:55 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, on southbound Highway 67 at Shannon Road. According to the patrol, a southbound 2013 Audi Q7 was approaching Shannon Road while a 1987 Ford F-150 was stopped on Shannon Road, waiting to cross Highway 67 and continue northbound. The patrol said the Ford F-150 entered the intersection and drove into the path of the Audi Q7. Additional assistance was provided by the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Office and other members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
