Trenton City Council members are scheduled to meet Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. at Trenton City Hall, where they will consider an ordinance and review bids for several city projects. One item on the agenda is an ordinance that would deny a request from Walter Smith for a minor subdivision at 1804 Hillcrest Drive. The recommendation follows action taken by the Trenton Planning and Zoning Commission, which voted Aug. 3 to deny the proposed minor subdivision. Council members also will consider three bids. The proposals include hazardous materials inspection services for the 2026 City Demolition Project, demolition and site cleanup at five properties as part of the City Demolition Project, and tree-trimming work at the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
