The sessions are intended for local governments and nonprofit organizations seeking Public Assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The sessions will address program updates, eligibility requirements, the federal reimbursement process, required documentation, and other information related to FEMA Public Assistance. The applicant briefings will focus specifically on FEMA’s Public Assistance program for local governments and qualifying nonprofit organizations. Organizations unable to attend the Aug. 12 briefing in Milan or another scheduled applicant briefing will be able to access a recorded video and additional information through SEMA’s website.
