Chillicothe police investigated a reported drug-related incident Thursday morning at a care facility in the 1300 block of Monroe Street. According to a press release from Captain Jeremiah Grider, the facility’s administrator requested law enforcement assistance after concerns arose about possible drugs involving a resident. Police detained one man and determined he had an active misdemeanor warrant issued by another Missouri county. He was transported to a local medical facility for evaluation. After contacting the court that issued the warrant, officers said the man was released on his own recognizance once the required paperwork had been completed and signed by a legal guardian.
