It's been two months since Chicago Bulls legend Stacey King unexpectedly passed away at 59. Now, the cause of death has been released this week, per Edward Lewis of The California Post. A spokesperson from the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office stated that the cause of death was due to hypertensive cardiovascular disease, a heart condition prolonged by untreated high blood pressure. On June 7, King was found dead in his Chicago home, around the time he was expected to go on vacation. King went on to play for the Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, and Boston Celtics before closing his NBA career in 1997.
