They received good news on Painter recently, and he should be back in the lineup in their next game, according to Don Mattingly. “Interim manager Don Mattingly said tests on Painter’s left hamstring that forced him to leave his Aug. 5 start after four innings ‘came back good.' Mattingly expects Painter to make his next start,” MLB.com wrote. Painter will be key for the Phillies for the remainder of the season, as they're currently 62-54 and are sitting in second place in the NL East.
