The Detroit Lions made Jahmyr Gibbs the highest-paid running back in the NFL after giving him a three-year, $67.5 million contract extension. With the deal signed, Gibbs revealed on Friday the first thing he plans to purchase with all the money he just made. The 24-year-old ball carrier crashed NFL Network's interview with teammate Amon-Ra St. Brown at training camp. St. Brown asked Gibbs what his first purchase will be now that he's signed the deal to remain in Detroit for the long haul. His deal is slightly higher than Atlanta Falcons star Bijan Robinson, who just signed a three-year, $66.75 million extension.
