Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach Resort has announced plans to host a large-scale viewing for the upcoming solar eclipse within its park, complete with extended opening hours and free glasses for guests. Pleasure Beach will be handing out 1,000 free solar eclipse glasses to those in attendance, in preparation for the Moon’s movement across the Sun. Each Wednesday during August, Pleasure Beach is open until a later time of 8pm, meaning guests won’t need to cut their visit short to catch the display.
