The preacher talked extensively about taking the gifts God has given us and to, “shine it up shiny.” I suggest you take this truck and shine it up shiny … be thankful for it. The preacher said that encounter changed his life, and that he drove his truck straight to the car wash to shine it up shiny. If we don’t shine it up shiny and honor those gifts, then why should we expect Him to give us anything more?” No matter how big or small, how new or old, I try to shine it up shiny and show gratitude for what I have.
