Seven people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st and 335th District Court, before Judge Reva Towslee Corbett. 35-year-old Bracken Bailey Bowen of Brenham, sentenced to 8 years in prison for Burglary of a Habitation, a second degree felony. 41-year-old Justin James Rogers of Somerville, sentenced to 3 years in prison for Evading Arrest/Detention with Previous Conviction, a second degree felony. Howard was also sentenced to 5 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Injury to a Child, a third degree felony. 22-year-old Serena Marie Blevins of Burton, sentenced to 1 year of deferred adjudication probation for Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a Class A misdemeanor.
