The Western Cape continues to outperform the rest of South Africa’s residential property market, with the latest figures showing the province recorded the strongest annual house price growth in the country, Cape {town} Etc reports.
According to the latest Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) Residential Property Price Index, residential property prices in the Western Cape increased by 12.6% year on year in March 2026.
The City of Cape Town recorded annual growth of 12.8%, well above the national average of 8.6%.
