North Berwick Community Council (NBCC) has opened the second round of its parking review survey, which saw 573 people taking part in the initial survey, held before parking charges came into force on June 1.
Residents, workers and businesses are being invited to complete a two‑month review survey assessing how the introduction of controlled parking zones and charges is affecting their everyday life.
The questionnaire aims to compare people’s early experiences with their expectations ahead of the next full meeting of East Lothian Council, scheduled for August 25.
The surveys, which take about 10 minutes to fill in, are available via the community council's website, with participants encouraged to complete any that apply to them, their household or their business.
NBCC says that the responses, whether supportive of or in opposition to the scheme, will be "invaluable" in building an evidence‑based snapshot of the impact of the parking changes before councillors consider the next steps.
