The Thames Valley Police Rural Crime Taskforce carried out the searches in Oxfordshire last night (Thursday, August 6), under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Those found in possession of drugs were dealt with. A HGV linked to reports of handling stolen goods was stopped and searched in Oxford. The team also supported local units in Kidlington during a search for an aggressive male, and responded to reports of a suspected intoxicated male walking on the A420 in the dark. Officers patrolled areas recently affected by rural crime to "reassure" the community and engage with residents and businesses.
