ISLAMABAD – Director General Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa has directed officials to process passport renewal applications on a priority basis to ensure faster and more efficient services for citizens. He also directed officials to maintain close coordination with the relevant FIA zonal offices and take effective action against agents and tout networks to ensure their complete elimination from passport offices. The DG instructed that awareness videos about digital fee payment methods should be displayed prominently at all passport offices to guide applicants. Randhawa also ordered the placement of banners and standees regarding the passport home delivery service at visible locations in passport offices so citizens can benefit from the facility. The DG reiterated that renewal applications should be handled on a priority basis to provide citizens with faster, organized and effective passport services.
