KARACHI – The Sindh School Education Department has issued a new circular revising the timings of government schools across the province. The circular sets separate timings for single- and double-shift schools, with different schedules for primary, elementary, secondary and higher secondary institutions. The circular also specifies timings for the first and second shifts of double-shift primary schools. For double-shift elementary, secondary and higher secondary schools, the first shift will run from 7:30am to 1:30pm from August 6 to October 31. The Sindh School Education Department has also revised timings for single-shift elementary, secondary and higher secondary schools and directed all concerned officials and school heads to ensure immediate implementation of the new schedule.
