[]
Slough Observer | News
The data centre is set to cover up to 90,614sqm, with three data centre blocks, ancillary offices, a substation as well as parking for future employees.
‘Reserved matters’ applications are yet to come – these will go into detail about the layout, appearance, access arrangements and landscaping around the data centre.
Now, the final legal hurdle for the data centre plans was finalised on Thursday (July 30), known as section 106 agreements.
To manage traffic coming and going from the data centre, a travel plan was also submitted to encourage active travel.
Equinix will make a minimum £200,000 contribution – and up to £500,000 – towards a potential Slough district heating network.
