Egypt has dispatched a second shipment of medical aid to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to support the country's response to the ongoing Ebola outbreak. It forms part of Egypt's continued efforts to strengthen the DRC's healthcare system and assist in containing the spread of the Ebola virus. The latest delivery underscores Egypt's ongoing commitment to supporting African nations during public health emergencies and reinforcing regional cooperation in disease prevention and response. The initiative also aims to strengthen regional health security and support efforts to contain the spread of cross-border diseases and epidemics. The first shipment was carried earlier this year, in May to the DRC and Uganda.
