Mr Rhodri, best known for playing Dave Coaches in Gavin and Stacey, said he was "bowled over" by the charity's work during a visit to their rehoming centre. He said: "Once you have a greyhound you start interacting with other owners online. The actor adopted his own greyhound, Mig, more than five years ago. Mr Rhodri has since become a vocal advocate for the ‘Cut the Chase’ coalition that successfully campaigned for a greyhound racing ban in Wales, which will take full effect by 2030.
